The California Supreme Court has now posted on its web site that the decision in the marriage cases (seeking the right to marry for same-sex couples under the California state constitution) will be issued Thursday, May 15.  Generally the court posts decisions at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time. The opinion should be available at this link around 10:00: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/opinions/

next ILGLaw conference rescheduled

The ILGLaw conference sponsored by the Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation Law and Public Policy previously scheduled for June 2008 is being rescheduled for March 2009, when it will be held in conjunction with the Institute's Annual Update. Look here soon for more details including a call for papers! If anyone has booked a hotel room at the Ramada in West Hollywood for June, you should contact them immediately to cancel your reservation.
