| Toronto's Gay Pride Parade
This parade is one of the world's largest, attracting over 1 million participants and spectators. It is very apt to be holding our conference in conjunction with Pride Parade's 25th silver anniversary.
For people who wish to march with our contingent, we are meeting 1:00 PM at a park called Harold Town (named after a Toronto artist). The park is on Church St. at Yonge St. beside the Canadian Tire Store Parking lot. We look forward to seeing ALL of you.
We encourage you to either wear distinctive clothing (e.g. a T-shirt that says “Australia” or a cap saying “Hong Kong”), or to carry a small flag that identifies your native country. Please do wear a hat or cap, comfortable clothes and shoes – the parade takes several hours and it is usually sunny and hot! |
