Topics will include the status and future of the “Brazilian resolution”, and the role of the United Nations Human Rights Committee. Experts will also discuss strategies for using international tribunals such as the European Court of Human Rights.

Employment discrimination has been a chronic problem for sexual minorities. Despite advances in some countries, problems persist especially for transgendered persons. This workshop will explore strategies for uncovering and challenging workplace discrimination, including the important role to be played by trade unions.
